Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in his/her duties.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of all meals served at the lodge, including employee meals and any guest special requests.
- Develop recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation in conjunction with lodge management, which help to assure consistently high quality and to minimize food costs. Exercise portion control over all items served.
- Prepare requests for kitchen products and other necessary food supplies for approval by the Executive Chef.
- Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the kitchen areas at all times.
- Interact with guests daily to ensure that they have a memorable Alaskan fishing experience . This may include introducing the meal and/or desserts, providing recipes, assisting with special meal requests etc.
- Work within established policies regarding safety, sanitation and accident prevention principle
- Perform other duties as appropriate
Qualifications:
- 3 years progressively responsible positions as Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory counts.
Deckhand
POSITION: Deckhand
REPORTS TO: Deckhand Team Leader / Fleet Captain / Boat Captain
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to the Captain of the vessel for the safe and diligent operation of the vessel.
- Responsible for the daily preparation and readiness of the vessel including equipment and bait.
- Daily interaction with guests to ensure that they have a memorable fishing experience. This may include assistance with fishing rods, baiting of hooks, cleaning of fish and communication of local fishing and native lore.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the boat per the Captain's instructions.
- Responsible for all aspects of fish cleaning and preparation.
- Assists with arriving and departing guests/floatplanes including the handling of guest luggage.
- Assists with the offloading of the lodge supplies on a weekly basis.
- Work within established policies regarding safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.
- Shares the responsibility for the cleanliness of the deckhand quarters.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilites
- Being available at all times to anticipate guest needs and to assist guests in whatever way necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and resupply of guest rooms, hallways, bathrooms, lounge and dining areas.
- Track hospitality-related inventory and advise the Hospitality Team Leader so that supplies can be re-ordered in a timely manner.
- Act as a server in the dining room during meals.
- Bus tables and wash dishes during meal periods.
- Set up tables for the next meal.
- Provide beer and wine service to guests as needed, including restocking and inventory of wine and beer in the reach in coolers.
- Assist with arriving and departing guests/floatplanes.
- Host guests after dinner in the lounge area on a rotating basis.
- Perform laundry duties as assigned.
- Interact with guests daily to ensure that they have a memorable Alaskan fishing experience.
- Work within established policies regarding safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.
- Assists with offloading of the lodge supplies on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for cleanliness of personal quarters and common areas.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Previous wait staff or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Physically fit and able to carry 25-35 lbs.
- Expect to work long hours with mid-day break.
- Willingness to work approximately 90 days continuously (no days off).
Maintenance — Team Member
POSITION: Maintenance Team Member
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Team Leader
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
- Being available at all times to anticipate guest needs and to assist guests in whatever way is necessary.
- Assist with the general maintenance of the entire lodge, dock and all of the shore side equipment and facilities as needed.
- Complete all sweep downs of the lodge on a daily basis prior to guests returning from fishing.
- Assist with keeping all maintenance shops and work areas clean and organized.
- Track maintenance related inventory and advise the Maintenance Team Leader so that supplies can be re-ordered in a timely manner.
- Assist on the dock with fish processing, as needed during high workload periods.
- Assist with arriving and departing guests/floatplanes, including guest luggage as needed.
- Interact with guests daily to ensure that they have a memorable Alaskan fishing experience.
- Perform start-up and shutdown procedures and assist with completion of the final inventory.
- Work within established policies regarding safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
- Maintenance and upkeep of all landscaping throughout the Lodge.
- Responsible for cleanliness of personal quarters and common areas.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools and their uses.

- Ability to carry heavy loads for extended periods of time including up multiple flights of stairs.
