Charter Boat Captain
Join our team as the Captain of one of our custom 37’ sport-fishing charter vessels at Sportsman’s Cove Lodge. As Captain, you’ll oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring it’s prepared and fully equipped for each excursion. You’ll also provide guidance and supervision to the deckhand, facilitating a seamless fishing experience for our guests. Engaging directly with guests, you’ll enhance their Alaskan Fishing experience by assisting with fishing equipment, sharing local lore, and hosting dining room meals. Additionally, you’ll maintain meticulous records in compliance with regulations and lodge policies, while prioritizing cleanliness and safety aboard the vessel.
Maintenance
Tasked with upholding the Lodge’s peak performance throughout guest stays, this role, guided by the Department Lead, manages the exterior maintenance, safety, security, cleanliness, and repairs. The focus is on ensuring the Lodge maintains an aesthetically pleasing and secure environment, promptly addressing any repairs, and upholding high standards of cleanliness for an exceptional guest experience.
Assistant Chef
This role, reporting to the Lead Chef, supports culinary operations at the Lodge, covering meal preparation, storage, inventory, menu planning, cleanliness, and guest interactions for an enhanced Alaskan Fishing Experience. Responsibilities also include cooking for guests and staff, post-fishing appetizers, and maintaining freezer and refrigerator organization.
